Two part data visualisation on arm trades in the Middle East and it's wars.
Approach
Cross referencing wikipedia’s list of wars in the middle east with news articles as well as looking at data reported by CATO.org on arm exports.
Brief
Design and produce two static, screen-based visualisations from within the same timeframe.
Intrigued by an article written about how developed nations are benefitting from war ridden countries by selling arm weapons. I created a 2 part data visualisation exploring how profits were made from havoc and war.
